Momentum Solves Most Problems (At Least on a Bike)
Being an elite athlete is more than just a job—it’s a 24/7 commitment. My success as a cyclist depends on how I sleep, eat, train, think, who I surround myself with, and how I live. Staying present, being true to myself, and letting go of what holds me back are key. To me, these aren’t just ingredients for success in sport—they’re essential for a fulfilling life. No school taught me this, but thanks to sport, I’ve actively engaged with these life lessons. And the journey never stops.
Along the way, there are victories and glory moments, but also setbacks, failures, injuries, and challenges. How I deal with them makes all the difference. In my talks, I share insights from my cycling career, using real-life examples to translate these experiences into practical skills for business and everyday life. I speak on topics such as resilience, diversity, change, and authenticity, hoping to offer a few useful insights (and if nothing else, at least an entertaining story or two).
If you’re interested in learning more or would like to book me for a talk, get in touch —I’d love to connect and share these insights with you.
